Montreal preview ride

If there is one thing I have been rightly accused of, it is planning things in advance.  Getting sox tix in the middle of winter, or ski deals while sitting on the beach.  So it shouldn't be surprising to hear about next summers bike tour.  Will be riding the St Lawrence river, from headwaters in Lake Ontario to the sea, near the gaspe.  Well actually from kingston, on to Campbellton, nb as via rail will be helping out with the logistics.
Spent the weekend scouting the trails near montreal which all check out just fine.  And doing some climbs up mt royal with my buddy David Eiley.  Nice tailwinds heading downriver! And I've discovered that orange julep makes for a great recovery drink.

The plan for 2018 is a 3 day, 210 mile, totally flat ride from kingston to montreal, a 3 day, 175 mile mostly flat ride to Quebec city, then 700 mile, 10 (?) day, hilly ride to Campbellton.  Easy to join for parts, or all, of the ride with transfer points in Quebec and montreal.   Tentatively leaving montreal by train on June 25, return july 12.   Sign up now for early booking discounts.
